Common Logging In Problems.

The Login information below pertains to HTML Toolbox, Browser Photo, Power Pack and Engine Starter customers only.

Server Check Pro customers, please use the form on the user support page and user support will contact you directly. Thank You.

There could be several reasons you may be getting the "Invalid Password" or "Invalid Account Name" error message. The following is a list of important items to keep in mind if you are having trouble logging in.

1. Have you forgotten your account name or password? This happens to all of us occasionally. If you cannot locate your original email welcome letter verifying your account name and password, but you know your account name, please use our password retrieval service. If you do not know your account name, contact our friendly user support personnel and they will be happy to assist you.

2. Did you know passwords and account names are case sensitive? Double check that you don't accidentally have your CAPS LOCK key activated.

3. Are you sure you typed the user name and password exactly as it is spelled and written in your welcome letter email? If the email has your account user name as "Bob" then you must type "Bob" in as your user name - "bob" or "Robert" won't work. Many people use a nickname when they sign up and then later have trouble trying to log in with their formal name. Check your welcome email to verify the exact spelling and case specifics of your user name.

4. Did you accidentally type in extra spaces when entering the password or account name? None of our account names or passwords have spaces.

5. Are you sure you have a NetMechanic Pro account? If you have not received a welcome letter email from NetMechanic then your account may not be active. If you are not yet a customer we would love to have you join. All you need to do is subscribe and you will be on your way to improving your Web site and increasing your traffic.

6. Are you sure your account has been activated? If you signed up for our services through a reseller (such as Verio, Earthlink, OLM, Reporting.net or Internet.com) the account information has to be received from the reseller before we can activate your account. Until you receive a welcome letter email from NetMechanic then your account is not active. In some cases this may take a few days for administrative processing. For faster service, please contact the partnership where you subscribed.

7. Did you specify a service that you are not subscribed to? You can subscribe to several different useful NetMechanic services and access them from our login area through the pull down select list. If you received an error message, you may have accidentally selected a service that you aren't currently subscribed to. We will be glad to sign you up for the service, but you will need to go through our usual sign up process first.

8. Are you a Partner? We value both our Partners and Subscribers, but currently they are maintained in separate databases, so we have a separate login for our Partners. Partners can access their accounts through the Partner Login Link. You may want to save a bookmark to this login form in your browser to make future logins even easier.
