Building a successful site takes work and planning. Even the most successful sites, however, won't amount to much if no one can find them. Search engines are one of the most important ways for people to find your site and if your site isn't search-engine friendly you could be losing lots of potential traffic.

	SEPP's Page Primer helps prepare your page for submission to a search engine by checking the title, META description and keywords, and body of your page.

Power Pack's keyword popularity tool tells you how many queries are made each month at the Overture search engine. You can see how many people searched for a keyword and all its variations. This insightful assistance is handy, especially if you aren't already aware of the numerous variations of particular keywords.

You'll also find a META tag generator. META tags (think keywords) make it easier for search engines to find your site. Don't worry if you don't know how to write them; Search Engine Power Pack automatically generates the HTML code for you to insert after you fill out a few form boxes. The Power Pack can also grab a copy of your page's HTML, insert the tags for you and then let you save the file locally. I used both options and found it simple to set up the META tags for my page. You can opt to have it submit your site to 100 search engines. Once submitted, you can use Search Engine Power Pack to track your rankings to see if you've been moving up or down.

For $89 per year Search Engine Power Pack is a useful service that's worth checking out. You might just end up with more traffic coming to your site--and that's not a bad thing.
